George Emmett Browning

1866-1948

George was the youngest surviving son of Johnathan and Ann Browning. He was enlisted in 1880, along with Sam, as a bricklayer to construct the Browning Brothers rifle factory. He also worked producing their first rifles and then in the repair shop once the patent was sold.
